A blog is one of the best ways to help your business grow.  If you have a website then it would be to your benefit to incorporate a blog.  Blogging will help you build your business in many different ways.  While I understand that your business may be selling a specific product or service, the time taken to build a blog will be worth your while.  Below are some reasons why.

Blogging creates links.  Links are what drives traffic to your website on the Internet.  The more links your site has, the more chances to be found through the search engines.  While the links direct people to specific blog articles, the chances are your potential customers will take it upon themselves to browse your site, which can lead to business.

Blogging helps your customers to see you as an expert.  Blogging about topics relevant to your business provides them with a glimpse of your expertise.  Use the blog to build this platform.  Provide customers with quality information that will assist and/or inform them.  They will come to see you as an expert and may begin to frequent your site for knowledge, which has the potential to translate to transactions.
